How our Wi-Fi cameras work
Watching from anywhere, and what happens without Wi-Fi.
Our cameras have Wi-Fi built in. They work in two ways.
With Wi-Fi. If there is Wi-Fi where the camera is installed and you set it up, you can watch what the camera sees from anywhere in the world, on your phone.
Without Wi-Fi. Connect to the camera through your phone's hotspot. You can then watch only when you are near the camera, ideally within 50 metres.
The camera can also record onto a memory card, so you can watch the recording later.
Our cameras are do-it-yourself. Follow the manual and message us if you get stuck. If you want us to install, it costs $15 in Harare, not including transport or extra materials such as cables and trunking.
